Seeking a professional and experienced Accounts Officer to join a growing finance team on the Gold Coast

**Your new role**

This role encompasses a variety of tasks across the accounts department, recording and managing financial transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries and bank reconciliations. Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- Ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and collections.
- Monitoring the financial performance of the business and providing regular reports to the management team.
- Managing the day-to-day financial operations of the business, including cash flow management and expense tracking.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Liaising with external auditors, tax agents, and other stakeholders as required.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be considered for this role, you will have proven experience operating as an Accounts Officer or within a fast-paced, high-volume organisation. You will need to have excellent relationship-building skills, be motivated, and great technical ability in the Accounts function. Additional skills required include:

- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a similar industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero or MYOB.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
