About us

Kids Capers Nambour has just opened in January 2022 and is a state of the art facility combining amazing play spaces with creative indoor learning areas. Kids Capers Nambour will be a special place for all children aged six weeks to six years old, with dedicated adaptable areas designed for age appropriate development. Our family owned business delivers high quality care in the early years. Our mission is to provide a play based and child centred curriculum through our unique and natural learning environments. Kids Capers Childcare has been in the northside community for over 16 years and has a strong Leadership team leading our mentor program for Educators to grow and learn all aspects of the centres. Our team of dedicated professional educators will develop and build meaningful, warm and nurturing relationships that are inclusive and supportive to all children, families and the Community

Qualifications & experience
- A Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services or working towards
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, Asthma and CPR qualifications
- Have previous experience in a similar role working with flexible play spaces.
- Effective and competent communicator
- Empathy, motivation, inspiration and a genuine love for the education of children
- Professional attitude
- Experience implementing the various learning framework
- Empathy, motivation, inspiration and a genuine love for the education of children

Tasks & responsibilities
- Developing positive and respectful relationships with children
- Supporting the holistic development of children in early childhood
- Providing experiences to support children’s play and learning
- Using an approved learning framework to guide your practice

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: $26.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 37 per week
