This boutique accounting firm with global offices exclusively works with international companies and businesses who have subsidiaries in Australia, including advisory services, outsourced CFO functions and compliance services. The clients are in line with mid-tier and Big 4. This is a position where you can lead a successful team, in world-class offices, and make a real impact on the business and your career.

**Responsibilities within this role include**:

- Managing a small team of 5 locally in Sydney, and one overseas reporting on monthly revenue, preparing budgets, monitoring productivity and KPI’s for the country.
- Manage client relationships, both existing clients and potential new clients
- Clients mostly being SME businesses with head offices overseas
- Outsource CFO work
- Liaising with potential clients including preparing fee proposals and converting them to clients
- Advising clients on their compliance requirements in Australia
- Liaising with clients on transfer pricing matters, including cost-plus arrangements and ensuring intercompany service agreements are in place
- Managing a large fee portfolio of approximately $1 million
- Managing the tax agent lodgment list to ensure compliance deadlines are met
- Preparation of tax advice SME’s which may include:

- Residency Status
- Minimising capital gains tax and resident status and advice
- Clients on cross border tax issues including best tax structures
- Withholding tax
- Transfer pricing
- FBT, GST, Payroll Compliance and PAYG
- Report to the Director overseas
- There will be international travel from time to time in this position

**Skills and Personal Attributes**
- Must be Australian qualified, CA or CPA
- Must be a registered tax agent or easily able to become registered
- Experience working for an Australian based Accounting firm
- Experience working with international subsidiaries based in Australia with head offices overseas
- A minimum of 8 years of experience working in Accounting firms
- Excellent English, both written and verbal communication
- Proven skills in client management and excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience with Xero, MYOB or Quickbooks
- Are able to travel internationally
