- Austin Health is one of the largest cancer service providers in Victoria. A complete range of services are delivered to patients and their families, including medical oncology, clinical haematology, radiation oncology (Austin Health and BHS), cancer genetics, palliative care, wellness and supportive care programs, an active volunteer program and specialist cancer surgery (managed via a separate Division). These are all provided in an environment that integrates research, teaching and training.- All Austin Health metropolitan-based Cancer Services are delivered within the Olivia Newton-John and Wellness Centre (ONJ Building) at the Austin Hospital. This state-of-the
- art facility provides a model of individualised cancer care for patients and their families.**About the role**
- The receptionist / administration assistant is the first point of contact for level 4 of the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness & Research Centre. The incumbent is responsible for providing excellent customer service to staff, visitors or anyone arriving to level 4.- This is a fixed term 12 month contract working Tuesday to Friday 0930 to 1500.- A regular day will see you:
- _Sorting and distributing mail_
- _Ordering stationery and supplies_
- _Assist administrative assistants with document labelling_

- You will be someone who has excellent communication skills, with a strong commitment to excellence in patient care. You’ll bring energy and drive to your work, and have a keen interest in developing your skillset.- To be successful in this role, you'll bring with you:
- Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated computer literacy, with proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (eg. Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher, web pages)
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate activities and allocate priorities effectively
