Hume Anglican Grammar is a multi-campus co-educational Anglican Diocesan School offering education from Prep to Year 12 in the Northern growth corridor of Melbourne.

- In 2025, the School will have 2,960 students and employ some 290 staff - 195 teaching and 95 non-teaching. The student enrolment at each campus is at Mt Ridley 1,448, Donnybrook 1,036 and Kalkallo 476.
- Ultimately at capacity, Hume will have 3,640 students (Mt Ridley 1,456, Donnybrook 1,596 and Kalkallo 588) with a corresponding cohort of teaching and general staff totalling 350 across its three campuses with plans for further expansion.
- As one of Victoria’s fastest growing schools, it is expected to be one of the largest non-government schools in the state, with plans for further expansion.

- **About the role**:
The Learning Enhancement Assistant is a part of the Learning Enhancement team working under the direction of the Learning Enhancement Coordinator within their area of responsibility. They are responsible for assisting students with additional needs by supporting and extending their learning in the classroom, under the guidance and with the cooperation of the classroom teacher. The Learning Enhancement Assistant will also contribute to assisting students develop the strategies and skills necessary to foster learning, independence and confidence in order to facilitate a students’ ongoing progress and attainment of optimal educational outcomes.
Hume Anglican Grammar is committed to child safety. The Learning Enhancement Assistant supports and promotes the School’s child safety culture. Under the direction of the Deputy Principal, they carry out strategies to embed a culture of child safety and assist in the review of the effectiveness of the strategies and revise as required.
The Learning Enhancement Assistant is a member of the General Staff and works proactively and collaboratively in a team environment to support and enrich their collective responsibilities.
The Learning Enhancement Assistant works in close partnership with the other Learning Enhancement Assistants and class teachers, and reports to the Director of Teaching and Learning through the Learning Enhancement Coordinator.
This position is full time (1.0 FTE), ongoing and will be based at our Freier campus. This role will commence on Monday, 5 May 2025 and the position offers 13 weeks holidays - 5 weeks paid annual leave and 8 weeks leave without pay (averaged).
