**YOUR ROLE**
We’re looking for an Assistant to join our Professional Risks team to manage the claim process for Allied Health insureds responding to disciplinary inquiries by professional governing bodies. These claims involve legal representation of our Insureds before professional governing bodies, which conduct disciplinary inquiries into complaints about professional conduct.
The role is process focused. You will gain skills and knowledge in disciplinary inquiries and insurance, but legal expertise is not a requirement for the role.
This position can be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Management of a portfolio of Disciplinary Claims
- Meeting legislative, regulatory and compliance obligations
- Liaising with brokers, panel lawyers and other stakeholders, providing an exceptional level of customer service
- Collating and managing claims information to ensure compliance

**ABOUT YOU**
- Experience in claims/insurance
- Excellent organisational and process-management competency
- Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to manage conflict situations
- Achievement-focused and a strong desire to help others
- Ability to analyse information and use this to make claims’ management decisions
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Outstanding relationship building and stakeholder management skills
