Executive Compliance Manager, Digital Trade

**How will I help?**

This role is responsible for providing dedicated business facing compliance support to the Financial Markets (FM) business. You will be responsible for providing compliance advice, insights and effective review and challenge to promote a rigorous, forward looking and practical approach to compliance risk management, which provides proactive, reliable and relevant compliance advice regarding FM’s business activities.

**Some of your Key Responsibilities will be**:

- You will have an understanding of the FM business and its specific business activities, including Digital and Customer Platforms, Strategy and Economics, Swap Dealer License, Margining and Collateral Management, Trade Reporting and STAQ.
- You will Provide relevant compliance advice, insight, oversight, review and challenge and monitoring over all activities relating to the FM business, including Digital and Customer Platforms, Strategy & Economics, Swap Dealer License, Margining and Collateral Management, Trade Reporting and STAQ.
- Effectively and proactively identify and escalate compliance risks and issues to ensure they are dealt with appropriately and in a timely manner.
- Build effective working relationships with key business, risk, legal and compliance stakeholders.
- Communicate compliance advice clearly and concisely, adjusting for different audiences and situations.
- Work closely with other risk and control functions, including Operational Risk, Market Risk, Controls Assurance, Financial Crime, Regulatory Affairs and Audit.
- Liaising with industry bodies and other banking peers to remain abreast of emerging compliance and regulatory issues and trends.
- Lead and develop team members work closely with the broader WIB Compliance team

**What do I need?**
- You will be degree qualified in a relevant discipline, Minimum of a Bachelor degree.
- You will have 4+ years’ experience in a banking context or with a financial services regulator preferred.
- You will have detailed knowledge of: Australian and US regulatory environment relating to financial markets activities, trade reporting, margining, collateral management and portfolio reconciliation (especially CPS 226), Digital and Customer Platforms.
- You will have demonstrated experience in effectively interacting with stakeholders at all levels and building strong relationships within the FM Compliance team and with other stakeholders (internal and external)
- Experience in a Compliance, Risk or legal function would be preferred, and you will have Capacity to operate in a complex and changing environment.
