**An Exciting Leadership Opportunity to Work in a Collaborative Environment**

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Specialist Surgeon to join our team as Head of Department and playing a leading role in shaping the future of veterinary surgery in Sydney. You will have access to top-tier tools including Synthes and Orthomed plating, and orthopaedic equipment E-Pen Neuro Burr, Biomedtrix THR systems, and I-Loc Interlocking Nail System.

**Our new Head of Department will have full accountability for**

- Setting the vision and roadmap for the Surgery service & team
- Managing the surgical caseload in conjunction with the surgical team
- Collaborating with Specialists across other departments to provide patients and clients with the best care outcomes
- Providing mentoring and guidance to interns
- Offering orthopaedic, soft tissue, neurologic, and emergency surgeries (as required)
- Promoting and upholding the core values of VetPartners, fostering a collaborative and cooperative culture across all services.

**What We’re Looking For**

We are looking for an experienced and suitably qualified Small Animal Specialist Surgeon who has achieved diplomate or equivalent status (ACVS/ECVS/FANZCVS) and is eligible for Specialist Registration with the Australian Veterinary Board Council. Above all, we value a team-oriented individual who provides exceptional care to our patients and supporting the broader team.
