**About the Role**

Operation. This is a residential role on a 4:3 roster working a nominal 38.1 hour-week. A competitive salary and

other benefits will be negotiated with the successful applicant.

The primary responsibilities include:

- coordinating and executing of pit permits;
- maintaining training records in accordance with all company and statutory policies and procedures;
- conducting group and individual training sessions (theoretical and hands on);
- championing the development and review of work procedures;
- identifying and implementing projects to improve training resources and activities; and
- completing workplace inspections and contractor training audits as required.

The role includes training employees and contractors in the safe and consistent operation in the pit, area inductions

and verification of competency of operating mobile plant and equipment.

We are looking for a safety focused, proactive and positive individual with the following attributes to join the Mining

team in the role of Mining Trainer.
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessing;
- training experience in mobile equipment in open pit mining;
- 4+ years’ experience as a Mobile Plant Operator or similar industry related experience;
- excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to establish strong interpersonal

relationships;
- current ‘HR’ class Drivers Licence.
