Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Food and Beverage Servers to join our team at Swannies Southport. As a server, you will play a key role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and satisfied throughout their visit.

Key Responsibilities
- **Customer Service**: Greet and seat guests promptly, presenting menus and providing information about daily specials and promotions.
- **Order Taking**: Accurately take food and beverage orders, ensuring any special requests or dietary restrictions are noted.
- **Service Delivery**: Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- **Menu Knowledge**: Maintain a thorough understanding of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and pairings to assist guests in their selections.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with kitchen staff and other servers to ensure smooth operations during service, communicating effectively to meet guest needs.
- **Cleanliness and Organisation**: Keep the dining area clean and organized, including resetting tables and maintaining the cleanliness of the service station.
- **Payment Processing**: Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, processing payments and providing change as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a food and beverage service role is preferred, but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food and beverage pairings is a plus.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to [25kg] as needed.

How to Apply

Pay: $21.73 - $35.74 per hour
