About the role
Provide support to Koori people contacting VCAT's Koori Support team for a range of matters including those relating to renting, goods and services disputes and guardianship matters.Help educate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to use VCAT's Koori Support webpage and referral pathways to relevant services that can assist them to access civil justice outcomes.Be a good record keeper with an ability to extract data from VCAT's case management systems in order to analyse and report on Koori people's use of VCAT's processes.
About you
- As a caring people person who loves to help people find informationdirectly, join VCAT's Koori Support team as a first contact personhelping educate the Koori community to access their civil justice options
- Be an evidence-driven person who likes to work with data - analysingnumbers and case types to demonstrate demand and capacity for KooriSupport services
- Use your Koori engagement experience and be part of deliveringprogressive changes as VCAT increases its' culturally safe spaces andoptions for Koori people to be heard when coming to VCAT
