Whilst the major banks leverage this capability for their consumer and business clients, our B2B model focuses on enabling other banks, fintech’s and corporates to deliver innovative and competitive payment and digital solutions to their clients and customers.

**We are looking for an Environment Manager, to join our Enterprise Tech Services department.**The Environment Manager is responsible for planning and management of the non-production environments. This role works with project and delivery teams to understand their environment requirements, manage the schedule of environment usage, govern the deployment and release management processes and work with the delivery, vendors, and technical teams to build, implement and manage fit for purpose environments.

**Role responsibilities include but not limited to**:

- Investigate environment related defects and remediate on a timely basis.
- Plan and co-ordinate availability of non-production environments
- Work with all of solution delivery to ensure environment issues are dealt with swiftly, and processes in place to ensure no further environment issues are introduced - communicating & reporting development and testing with reference to the environments.
- Establish and monitor Service Level Agreements with the project teams and support teams for environment provision, availability, and support.
- Ensure that non-production environments are proactively monitored and supported in the event of failures and downtime, escalating timeously to responsible support teams and raising awareness to stakeholders and dependent teams.
- Work with Test managers, Delivery leads and Networking & Infrastructure teams in provisioning of environments primarily for testing.
- Work with the various project managers and Test Leads to coordinate planned outage and environment refresh.
- Establish an environment governance structure and ensure that both projects and testers follow the process.
- Identification of environmental gaps and create necessary process to remediate these.
- Input to and ownership of the environment strategy

**About You**

As the Environment Manager you are a natural collaborator and your ability to influence action and lead a team will be paramount to this role. With an analytical and critical thinking mindset you will be assured in providing accurate results in a tight deadline driven environment. Additionally, your practical comprehension of modern development practices (Agile, Lean, ABT Testing, Microservices architecture) will be highly sought after.
