We have an opportunity for an **Experienced** **office manager** to join our team at **Vincentia Bay Medical. **We require an individual who is **highly motivated**, **enthusiastic** with a **"can do"** attitude towards all tasks, ability to work autonomously at a fast pace as well as in a team - Address: HomeCo Vincentia, 22/8 Moona Creek Rd, Vincentia NSW 2540 - Hours of the clinic: Monday Friday: 8.30 am to 6.00 pm - Billing: Mixed Billing - Software Used: Best Practice - Nursing Support: Well-trained nursing staff available. - Admin Support: Area Manager to address day-to-day concerns. This will be a growing practice so a bubbly personality is a must as well as is the ability to think on your feet Your responsibilities will include: - Open and Close clinic as per set procedure - Greet patients and other callers in a professional and courteous manner - Make appointments for patients - Ensure medical records are managed confidentially and efficiently - Accurately process patient payments via cash, Eftpos, and direct bill transaction. - Invoice Medicare, Private Health Funds, TAC, Workcover. - Knowledge of the MBS schedule and correct billing procedures - Deal with referring doctors, hospital staff, pharmacists etc courteously and helpfully - Attend to patient enquiries - Fill in the roster when staff is away, on holidays and sick leave. - Maintain the reception waiting area and consulting rooms tidy including the clean up of spills if necessary. - Ensure the accurate storage and retrieval of patient and practice records with appropriate scanning, faxing and filing of all documents. - At all times maintain confidentiality of patient personal and financial information. - Complete recalls. - Support the day to day operations of the medical centre. - Exceptional customer service and teamwork skills. - High level of computer literacy and IT knowledge. - Experience using Best Practice is desirable. - Selection Criteria:_ - Demonstrated ability to work in a team - Experience with Medical software (BEST PRACTICE/MEDICAL DIRECTOR) - Demonstrated strong organisational and problem solving skills - Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment, including multitasking - Demonstrated ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders both verbally and in writing - Demonstrated commitment to quality patient service
