**About the Role***
As the Investment Analyst, you will play a critical role in analysing and assessing strategic opportunities and investments. Reporting to the Senior Business Development Manager - Investments, you will support decision making by providing comprehensive research, market insights and financial analysis to evaluate new and existing agricultural technology opportunities.

**On** any given day, you will**:

- Conduct detailed analysis on agricultural investment opportunities, including financial modelling, market assessment and due diligence, to evaluate the commercial potential and risks of emerging technologies.
- Develop and maintain financial models and forecasting tools to assess the financial viability of investments and support investment proposals and recommendations.
- Support the development of business cases and investment papers, including drafting written recommendations, analysis, proposals and reports.
- Perform research on market trends, competitor analysis and landscape assessments to validate strategic investment opportunities and inform decision-making.
- Analyse data related to agricultural investment opportunities and industry metrics, and prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including researchers and industry partners, to support the commercialisation of strategic projects and provide investment insights.

**About You***
You are an analytical thinker with expertise in investment analysis and financial modelling

You will also bring:

- A Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, commerce, agricultural sciences or related field
- Proven experience in investment analysis, consulting, venture capital or a related field
- Strong analytical skillswith the ability to develop logical and accurate financial and commercial models
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in presenting complex information to stakeholders
- A keen interest in emerging science, critically assessing new ideas through a strong commercial lens and an appreciation of the broader innovation ecosystem.
- A proactive and adaptable approach, alongside the willingness to adapt to changing priorities
- Prior experience in agriculture is desired, but not essential
