Our client is a global leader in the production of the natural insecticide active ingredient, Pyrethrins, extracted from Australian grown pyrethrum daisies. They have a job opening for a Loader Operator at their Pellet Mill in Ballarat, Victoria.

As a Loader Operator, you are required to operate a Front-End Loader to move harvested pyrethrum crop/ stockfeed within the bulk store to ensure a steady feed to the pelletiser intake hopper. Duties include:

- Operation of a wheeled loader
- Loading of bulk trucks
- Assist with loading of bulk shipping containers
- Weighbridge operations
- Coordinating bulk deliveries
- Sampling
- Assist in feed mill operation
- General cleaning and maintenance
- Other ad hoc duties as directed

Commencing immediately and running for approximately 2 months, there is potential ongoing work for a good performer. You are required to work approximately 40 hours a week (weather dependant).

**Your Skills & Experience**

You will need to be physically capable of working long hours and in dusty environments.

To be considered for the role, it's important you can demonstrate the following:

- Front End Loader Certificate of Competency (or equivalent experience)
- Ability to work as part of a small team
- 100% committed to health and safety
- A mature mindset and a can-do attitude
- Be willing and able to complete manual tasks outside of machine operating
- Ability to complete a pre-employment medical (inc. drug & alcohol screening)
- Flexibility - this role involves some shift work and overtime as needed
- Demonstrated experience on a Front-End Loader (advantageous)
- Valid Driver's Licence
- Forklift licence (desirable - not essential)
