**What your new role will look like**:
As a **Resident Services Assistant, **your role will be to support the residents t live full and social lives in an enviornment of support and safety.

You will enjoy working within our **Better Together® **social model of ageing well, which offers a continuum of care and support services for our Residents, within a range of accommodation options in one location.

What does your new role look like? Working closely with the care team, your primary duty is to support the social welfare of residents by:

- Visit and support the residents to socialise who are bed bound or need very high levels of support
- Assist residents to connect and engage and live the life they CHOOSE to live
- Take on activities and takss as needed; helping residents tidy their rooms and maintain cleanliness of the redients' communal areas
- Answer call bells in a timely manner and provide reassurance and assistance within scope of duties
- Support food/dining related activities under the direction of the senior carer and help clean and tidy up post meal service
- Assist residents who require no manual handling to undertake activities of daily living

- Availability to work a minimum of 3 days a week
- Someone currently studying Aged Care/Nursing or have a real desire to work with the elderly

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability
- Weekends only

Supplemental pay types:

- Penalty rates
