**About the role**:
As the Reconciliation Lead, you will drive our Reconciliation Action Plan, fostering strong relationships with Internal and External Stakeholders. As an expert in Indigenous Affairs, you will provide strategic advice, ensuring cultural safety is at the forefront. You will forge partnerships aligned with our Stretch Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), and keep our business moving forward on our journey.
**Why this role matters**:
- Provide strong governance management through External and internal reporting on RAP commitments & targets using Weavr (RAP Tracking platform). E.g. Sustainability reports, Corporate Governance Statement
- Support and deliver reconciliation governance
- Co-Chair of the Reconciliation Steering Committee (RSC) & support the Indigenous Employee network & Reconciliation Champion Network
- Influence senior leaders from Executives, General Managers & below to ensure delivery against Origin’s RAP commitments as well strong stakeholder skills to receive buy-in for companywide initiatives aligned to business strategy. Track progress and report.
- Committee report/ paper writing
- Board, Inclusion Council (ELT) and Reconciliation Steering Committee.
- Support the Indigenous Employee Network in providing a culturally safe place to employees including wellbeing.
- Provide Subject Matter Expertise and responsible for key RAP initiatives / programs for Origin-wide RAP projects e.g. Cultural Capability Framework and First Nations Employment Strategy
- Celebrate and honour key reconciliation events using a collaborative approach and culturally sensitive i.e work closely with Reconciliation Champion network, support the celebration of reconciliation events NAIDOC & NRW. Stay connected to external market trends and networks to help build Origin’s reconciliation journey
