**Career Area**:Marketing / Sales / Product Support**:
As an Application Specialist with Caterpillar you will work closely with the mine management team as they look at projects and processes to improve the value of the system. You will also work closely with the Site Manager to provide detailed site status reports.

**You will**:

- Reviewing and optimizing Command system settings/configurations.
- Conducting field audits and field leadership activities.

**Position duties include but not limited too;**
- Project leadership
- Reasonable for monthly drilling reporting
- Providing Weekly KPI reports required by client and dealer cadence
- Complete risk assessments and to be the ADS change management champion
- Supervise control room activities and control room hardware
- Liaise with customers operation and maintenance teams

Serving as customer resource consultant to help them improve operations using MineStar technology. The position must know and understand to drive the customer’s ADS fleet to achieve the highest possible availability by;
- Installing and set up Command for Drilling Office software
- Installing and set up Terrain for Office software
- configure and commission remote operating station
- Operating the remote operating system with multi drill operation from single remote station
- Basic network troubleshooting skills
- Utilize Caterpillar reports or assist client with Terrain Data Share Ensuring key processes are in place to support mining technology and expansion at site.
- Being the key person onsite to capture, document, and present customer enhancement request to Caterpillar
- Helping develop the upgrade plan and follow the change management process to update the needed systems
- Providing knowledge transfer to members of the run team. Integrating Command for drilling into customer business processes
- Delivering advanced training locally, and at customer sites with a focus on hands on competence in the mining environment
- Training content will include advanced MineStar

- Ability to meet the ongoing COVID vaccination mandate requirements of our major mining customers and regional governments in Australia and Internationally

**_The following will be highly regarded, but not essential: _**
- University degree in Engineering, IT, mining or similar working background
