Based at our dynamic Office in Brisbane Capalaba, a fantastic opportunity exists for an experienced **Health, Safety & Quality Manager** to join the team. You need to be able to manage two areas of responsibility that includes Health, Safety & Quality Works. Reporting to the Business Manager, you will be responsible ensuring for all quality and safety parameters within the business, as well as job performance rates. Key account-abilities will include:
**SAFETY**
- Lead Health, Safety, Environment and Quality across a portfolio of facilities.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and contractual obligations; and WHS / environmental systems
- Lead health and safety initiatives and development of a Work Health and Safety culture.
- Develop SWIM's, JSA's for operations
- Coordinate WHS activities on planned works and contribute to the development and implementation of plans regarding key health and safety strategies.
- Provide training and guidance for work health and safety activities and coordinate their reporting requirements.
- Review activities to ensure hazards and unsafe workplace conditions and work practices have been identified, reported and are being acted on. Monitor corrective actions and maintain reporting requirements of the WHS Management System and our clients.
- Open communication to clients on WHS for work activities.
- Lead the Investigation of HSEQ incidents and manage internal and external HSEQ audits

**QUALITY**
- Ensure ongoing compliance within the Food and Beverage industry.
- Ensure that the company is meeting the clients expectations.
- Monitor and conduct quality checks of compliance for our clients, investigated and look for opportunities to improve effectiveness.
- Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk; work with our clients to demonstrate improvements.
- Ensure appropriate processes for staff qualifications: hazardous materials handling, high risk work licences & confined space licences.

**Experience**:

- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety: 5 years (required)
- Internal auditing qualification (ISO 9001, 14001 and/or AS/NZS 4801), desirable;
- Certificate IV - Training and Assessment, desirable.

**Salary**: $72,847.96 - $88,505.27 per year

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Capalaba, QLD 4157: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Health and safety: 4 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 25% (preferred)
