**About the Role**
This newly created role will work closely with the Division Manager of People, Performance and Culture to shape and deliver the People strategy, and enable the organisation to reach their goals. Leading a small team, this role will be responsible for supporting, coaching and developing the team and ensuring that they are delivering to business needs. In addition to this, the role will partner with leaders in the business to understand their capability gaps to develop and embed solutions that will enhance the capability and engagement of their employees.
This will include:
- Developing a new performance review approach and framework;
- Embedding succession planning and working with managers to identify and develop high potential talent;
- Work with senior leaders to ensure strategic workforce planning is in place;
- Continue to develop the Learning and Development offering and engaging employees in this;
- Continuous improvement of existing policies, frameworks and collateral;
- Creating initiatives around employee engagement and retention.
**About you**
An experienced and qualified generalist, you will bring an understanding of the full employee lifecycle, with a strength and interest in OD. You will have a passion for coaching, mentoring and developing a high performing team, whilst ensuring a positive employee experience. You will have a strong sense of teamwork, collaboration and customer service, and bring excellent stakeholder engagement skills. Experience in events or sports is not essential, but will be highly regarded.
