
Operations Supervisor

At Clean Vibes plans are underway to deliver our summer event cleaning and sustainable waste services to clients across Melbourne and Regional Victoria so we're looking for a **Operations Supervisor **to join our team on a full time basis.
**About the role**:
- Reporting to the Victorian Operations Manager, the Operations Supervisor will:_
- Provide the operational completion of Clean Vibes events services
- maintaining an excellent relationship with onsite client representatives throughout the bump-in, during & post-event phases alongside the management of Clean Vibes staff and labour force.
- overseeing warehouse operations, inventory management, and providing further logístical support for events.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Event Support**:
- Collaborate with the VIC OM to understand event requirements and timelines.
- Coordinate and fulfill event setups, including transportation, equipment, and supplies.
- Event day tasks including bump-in & bump-out such as the deployment of bins, management of staff across site to collection / washing of bins
- Ensure all event materials and equipment are properly packed, labelled, and delivered on time.
- Maintain and organize event inventory, ensuring all items are in good condition and ready for use.
- Provide support for any last-minute changes or emergencies during events inclusive of replacing cleaning and waste casual staff shifts when necessary
- Delivering infrastructure to and from events
- Ensuring that all the event equipment and vehicles are properly maintained and kept in good working order, including ensuring an accurate register is maintained.
- Ensuring the event is clean, waste is correctly disposed of and support services are effective in accordance with corporate quality standards.
- Become a key support person for the operations manager at all major events throughout the season.
**Warehouse Organisation**
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in receiving, storing, and shipping products.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.
- Implement and maintain warehouse safety protocols and procedures.
- Coordinate with management to manage inbound and outbound shipments.
- Manage warehouse layout and optimize space utilization.
- Cleaning equipment, washing uniforms and mop heads that come back dirty from event sites.
**Staff Management**
- Directing, motivating and managing casual staff on site in line with Clean Vibes Code of Conduct.
- Ensuring all staff are suitably attired at all times whilst working at the Events, in line with the Clean Vibes uniform guidelines (or as agreed with Clients).
- Assist with rostering and scheduling of staff in line with clients requests and agreed staffing plans.
**Management Reporting**
- Communicating with the Operations Manager on a regular basis to ensure they remain fully informed of all significant operating issues.
- Communicating with clients and OM to ensure that they remain fully informed of all significant operating issues on site and that the activities between Clean Vibes and all other groups at the events are well coordinated.
- Ensuring all other reporting requirements are met in a timely manner.
**About you**:
- What you will bring to the role:_
- Experience in event support or coordination is highly desirable.
- Valid driver’s license essential
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
- The ability to operate warehouse equipment preferred.
- Outstanding communication skills with an ability to engage quickly with people from a diverse range of cultural background
- Ability to think quickly, be agile, solution driven, and problem solve
- Ability to remain calm in periods of pressure and be a confident decision maker
- You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current **Police Check**
