Site Supervisor – Commercial Plastering & Carpentry

Location: Western Suburbs (Yard based in Melton, VIC 3337)

Salary: $80,000 – $120,000 + Company Van (based on experience)

Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We're on the lookout for a motivated and hands-on Site Supervisor to join our team.

This position is a hybrid role, combining on-the-tools work with supervisory duties. You'll spend part of your time working alongside the crew and the rest coordinating, leading, and keeping jobs running smoothly across multiple sites.

You'll be overseeing day-to-day operations for plastering and carpentry projects throughout the western suburbs. The right person will be organised, driven, and confident leading teams to deliver excellent results safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities


•. Supervise and work alongside on-site teams of up to 10–15 tradespeople.

  • Split time between hands-on trade work and site management.
  • Plan and manage daily work schedules and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Liaise with clients, site managers, and office staff to maintain smooth communication.
  • Monitor quality control, OH&S compliance, and site presentation.
  • Assist with material ordering, deliveries, and basic paperwork.
  • Lead by example — reliable, professional, and team-oriented.

What You'll Need


•. Proven experience in commercial plastering and/or carpentry (supervisory experience highly regarded).

  • White Card and current driver's licence.
  • Own hand tools and a solid understanding of construction safety.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and focused attitude — we value people who take pride in their work.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.

What We Offer


•Competitive salary: $80,000 – $120,000, depending on experience.

  • Standard hours: 7:00 am – 3:00 pm (give or take).
  • Based out of our Melton yard with sites across the western suburbs.
