**The Role**
The purpose of an Athlete Marketing Coordinator is to support the Athlete Marketing Team Lead in various tasks related to athlete endorsement strategies, marketing initiatives and campaigns. This role involves coordinating communication with athletes, managing administrative aspects of partnerships, assisting with campaign planning and execution, and helping to ensure that athlete marketing initiatives align with the brand's objectives and timelines. Additionally, the Athlete Marketing Coordinator may be responsible for maintaining records, tracking metrics, and providing general support to ensure the smooth operation of athlete marketing activities.
**Key Tasks & Responsibilities**
- Identify and evaluate potential athletes for brand partnerships based on alignment with the brand's values, target audience, and marketing objectives.
- Seek and gather product feedback from athletes on gifted product to share with the LSKD product and design teams.
- Engage in partnerships with unpaid athletes, ensuring terms are mutually beneficial and align with the brand
- Serve as a primary point of contact for a selected pool of assigned athletes - Run will be your area of ownership, maintaining and nurturing regular communication to coordinate activities, relay important information, and address any questions or concerns.
- Assist with administrative aspects of athlete partnerships, supporting athlete agreements, managing paperwork, and ensuring accurate and timely documentation completion.
- Support planning and execution of athlete-focused marketing campaigns and activations, ensuring alignment with campaign objectives and timelines.
- Coordinate and support branded content featuring athletes, including scheduling photo shoots, video recordings, obtaining necessary approvals and clearances.
- Provide logístical support for athlete appearances at events, competitions, and promotional activities, including coordinating travel arrangements and accommodations.
- Assist in tracking and analyzing performance of athlete marketing initiatives, monitoring engagement metrics, assessing campaign effectiveness, and compiling reports.
- Nurture positive relationships with sponsored athletes, including personalized communications, organizing gifts or incentives, and facilitating special requests. Be unreasonable with our athletes, going above and beyond to connect with them in a personal and meaningful manner
- Facilitate in allocating the assigned athlete marketing budget given by the Athlete Manager, be proactive in tracking expenses, processing invoices, and ensuring expenditures remain within allocated budgets.
- Conduct research on athletes, sports trends, and competitor activities to identify partnership opportunities, emerging trends, and best practices. Feedback to product team any trends or identified learnings from your athletes
- Provide general administrative support to the Athlete Marketing team, including scheduling meetings, organizing documents and files, and assisting with day-to-day tasks.

**Essential Skills / Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Exercise Science, or a related field (preferred not essential).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sports program management or a related role.
- Strong understanding of athlete development principles and practices.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with diverse groups of athletes, from youth to elite levels
