A professional and loving family in Galston are seeking an organised, warm and nurturing nanny to assist with the household and care for their 2 girls (13 and 15 yrs of age).

**The days and normal hours are - 3 - 4 days - Min 20 hours**

**Afternoon shifts**

An ideal nanny will have a bubbly/friendly personality and is organised and able to work off own initiative with mínimal instruction. Be warm and nurturing, fair, patient, calm and conscientious. To be able to work with the children’s routines and assist the family in keeping the household running. The girls will not need a lot of ‘minding’ ; it is ensuring that someone is there to make sure that they are ok after school, take to activities, engage with, have a break and then work on homework.

**The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows -**
- To supervise the children
- Follow the children’s routine
- Pick up from school
- Laundry
- Washing and ironing
- Grocery Shopping
- Run Errands
- Cook a family meal, prepare snacks and prep school lunches
- Take to after school activities ie dancing and friends/playdates
- Assist with some light household duties ie keeping main areas of the house are clean and tidy.
- Assist with homework -Supervisory - ensure it gets done and to help with queries

**The family’s expectations from their nanny are -***
- Must have a minimum of 3+ years nanny or household manager experience
- Childcare or teaching qualification (preferred not essential)
- Have a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)
- Have a current working with children’s check number
- Display strong communication skills and speak good english
- Warm and Nurturing and calm
- Friendly /Bubbly
- Fair, reliable, patient and conscientious organised and able to work on own initiative
- Full Drivers Licence and clean driving record
- Comfortable with animals
