We're looking for a customer service focused Settlements Officer with strong communication skills to be responsible for the settlement of Commercial Finance contracts within their delegated level of authority. **Roles and responsibilities** Prepare settlements documentation - Liaise with the broker and BDM’s to obtain all required information to settle the loan - Check the contract has been executed correctly by the borrower. - Make sure Metro’s Personal Property Securities Register (PPSR) has been lodged over the asset. - Prepare the Payment run for checking. - Check relevant documents have been saved against the loan. - Settlement preparation is undertaken via the Metro Broker Portal, PPSR register and equifax - Identify any opportunities for process improvement and take the ideas forward. **How to succeed** A passion for customer interactions and ability to build and nurture professional relationships will ensure success in the role.
