The Guest Experience Supervisor will oversee our Guest Experience team members who play an integral part in ensuring that guests who arrive at the resort have all of the information required to make their stay memorable and enjoyable. This team will take all steps necessary to ensure easy and enjoyable access for Guests to all of the resort’s services and facilities and will:

- Provide our guests and team members with safe, friendly and efficient access to Resort Facilities and associated services.
- Support the company vision and strive to meet company goals.
- Maintain a strong presence at key areas around the resort.
- Team Training: including pre-season formal sessions, continuous on-the-job instruction and support, and work place observations.
- Display a can do attitude at all times while working with team members and promote a fun, inclusive, team orientated atmosphere.

**Operational activities of this role will include**:

- Assume responsibility for selected areas of concern.
- Conduct daily morning briefing meetings.
- Rostering and organizational responsibilities.
- Liaising with Lift Operations teams in regards to operational needs and lift wait times.
- Maintenance of high housekeeping standards in all areas of operation.
- Setting a good example of brand and the promotion of high quality, friendly and cooperative relationships with guests and other departmental and mountain staff.
- Setting a good example, and ensuring adherence by all GE team members, of company standards in regards to sobriety, punctuality, attendance and personal grooming.
- Vigilance of (and reporting to Control Centre/GE Manager) unusual or unsafe situations anywhere within the resort eg, hazard reporting procedure, whether on or off duty.
- The use of appropriate communication channels and following the correct chain of command.
- Aim to build consistency and fairness and just culture throughout the Guest Services Department with regard to performance reviews and safety standards.
- Adhering to Buller Ski Lifts Environmental Management System.

**We’re looking for people with**:

- Demonstrated customer service and communication skills
- Computer literate and a positive team player
- Intermediate or above skill level on skis or board and be able to get around most areas of the resort with ease.
- Enjoy working outdoors in extreme conditions and have a good level of physical fitness
- Able to communicate with team members and guests from all different backgrounds and walks of life with empathy and respect.
- Must be committed and reliable.
- Thrive working in a team and building team rapport and moral.
- Growth mindset.
