Our friendly team at Upper Beaconsfield Community Early Learning Centre are seeking a confident and experienced lead educator, who is warm, nurturing and passionate.

We are a small not for profit 27 place centre, with a strong focus on community. We're located within 10 minutes of Pakenham and Berwick, nestled in the beautiful Upper Beaconsfield Hills.

**We are looking for a lead educator who is**
- Experienced in working with children aged 0 - 3 years.
- Enjoys managing and juggling the differing routines of the younger age group
- Will foster a warm and nurturing environment for both their team and children
- Is passionate about upskilling, supporting and mentoring their team
- Will be proactive and innovative with their educational program and environment

**Key requirements**:

- First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Training.
- Valid Working with Children Check.
- Mandatory Reporting
- Food Handlers
- Have a sound understanding and knowledge of the Early Years Framework (EYLF), (VEYLFD), National Quality Standards (NQS), and Child Safe Standards.
- Must be willing to obtain National Criminal History Check
- Working with Children Check
- Hold an approved ACEQA-approved early learning childhood qualification (Diploma)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $32.00 - $32.97 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 38 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Lead Educator: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Working with Children Check (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
