As the **Traffic Control Depot Manager - Brisbane & Sunshine Coast **you will be responsible for the day to day running of the Traffic Control operations; the oversight of the allocation of personnel and equipment to adequately meet client requirements, and for ensuring all necessary plans and permits are in place prior to commencing jobs. This role ensures our services are delivered in a safe and professional manner, by working closely with the team, Supervisors, Operations Coordinators and Team Leaders. This role also includes overseeing Toowoomba and Sunshine Coast Supervisors. The Depot Manager is responsible for planning, development, and implementation of strategies for operational and business development functions in accordance with the organisation’s performance criteria.

**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Leading the management and delivery of the Work Health & Safety policies to ensure the implementation of best practice and corrective actions as required.
- Managing teams, driving a positive culture and contribute to staff management, motivation and training, recruitment and staff morale to ensure positive employee and client relationships.
- Working with the Management team to develop new revenue opportunities through engagement with new and prospective clients.
- Building and maintain effective interpersonal relationships internally and externally.
- Work with business leaders to implement long and short-term plans for growth across the region;
- Drive and maintain best practice organisational policies and procedures.
- Proactively participate in Operations team meetings.
- Ensure scheduled work complies with legal requirements, industry regulations, company and client procedures.
- Oversee the planning, scheduling and execution of the efficient rostering of staff in accordance with customer requests by evaluating requirements.
- Provide adequate supervision to Traffic Controllers through technical guidance and support.
- Participate in inspections, audits and safety observations as required.
- Leading by personal example by encouraging all employees to conduct their activities in accordance with all applicable laws, standards and policies including workplace health & safety.

**WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE**:

- Demonstrated experience successfully managing client relationships.
- Previous Traffic Industry experience
- Proven ability to lead a team, drive high performance and provide exceptional service.
- Strong demonstrated ability to be a dynamic, proactive leader,
- Ability to influence and engage with both internal and external stakeholders,
- Proficient computer skills including MS Excel
- Traffic and or logistics background desirable
- Experience in managing budgets, contracts (PPT vs Casual for example), overtime.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
