**Role**

This is challenging and varied leadership position within a national Service Delivery Team of 12 Technical Consultants and Trainers. Joining the Queensland team you'll lead 2 x Technical Consultants responsible for installing and upgrading software and hardware working remotely and on-site throughout metropolitan and regional Qld. Given the small team size, you'll still be hands-on with the tech and lead from the front.

The role will involve managing and allocating incidents and tickets, act as the client escalation point, drive projects and project manage and plan new installations, upgrades, decommissioning tech and new client on-boarding, monitor and drive quality outcomes, NPS, team leadership, recruitment, coaching and mentoring. You won't be afraid to allocate yourself work to show the team how it's done and pitch in. In addition you'll collaborate with the other State and National Team Leads to understand business drivers and how to lead the Service Delivery Team to deliver business strategy and goals.

This role will suit a Senior Field Engineer with leadership, mentoring and coaching experience, keen to progress their career into management....yet still wanting to stay hands on with technology and client engagement. You love to lead the way
- Set team direction, people and project manage work - performance blueprints, work delegation, coach and mentor a team of 2 adopting a hybrid work model
- Project Manage the software and hardware installation process across the State's client base - project management including customer engagement
- Manage quality and drive SLA's
- Hands on contribute to the team (provide after hours support and on-call support on roster - one week on in approx 6-7 weeks - on call allowance, time and half and double time)
- Onsite client installations, upgrades, decommissioning and Level 3 onsite support
- Add value to the customer through client relationship and escalation management
- Drive ongoing product improvement and process improvement through collaboration with the National Service Delivery team and other internal teams
- Management reporting
- Contribute to company and National Service Delivery Team Strategy Success Maps
- Work together with the National and other State Team Leaders to manage resource pool, drive quality and continuous improvement

**Key Selection Criteria**
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology (Diploma or higher)
- Experience in a team leadership capacity (either formal or informal) - coaching, mentoring, project management, BAU support ticket delegation, quality and process improvement - 12-24 months plus leadership ideal
- Solid experience in a Field Services role supporting software, hardware and networks and ability to operate independently and part of a team
- Microsoft Windows 10 Pro and Microsoft Windows Server 2019 highly regarded
- Office 365
- Experience in field services within a retail setting would be highly regarded
- Ability to demonstrate skills required to troubleshoot software, hardware and network issues on site during a practical interview
- Go-getter, autonomous, highly motivated and able to project manage and plan installations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Have a current driver’s license and a willingness to undertake intrastate and interstate travel - substantial travel is required
- Flexibility and availability to work after hours and/or occasional weekend work with excellent conditions/on call and overtime allowances provided
- Hybrid role with the working from office and work from home possible
