**The Department**

The Alfred Cancer Program is responsible for the overall delivery of a comprehensive cancer service which involves a number of clinical areas and units including; Medical Oncology, Clinical Haematology, Bone Marrow Transplant, Apheresis, State-wide Haemophilia Service, Radiation Oncology, Clinical Trials, Palliative Care and the Victorian Melanoma Service. Alfred Cancer’s mission is working together to provide comprehensive patient centred, quality care through investment, research and innovation.

**The Role**

**Qualifications and Experience Required**
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA
- Master qualification in cancer/management or working towards
- Minimum five years’ experience in a senior nursing management or relevant health role
- Proven leadership in clinical settings with experience in governance frameworks, change management, emergency preparedness, and driving continuous quality improvement
- Skilled in managing healthcare services efficiently, with expertise in budgeting, revenue management, patient access and flow, and project execution in large, complex organisations
- Demonstrated success in leading services through accreditation processes, with sound understanding of legislative, statutory, and industrial frameworks
