**THE ROLE**:
We are looking for an Assistant Maintenance Manager who is proactive, positive, believes in solutions not problems and remains calm and service focused. This position reports to our Maintenance Manager and assists in leading this department. This role is responsible for ensuring the continued high standard of presentation and operation of the resort and the distinctive standards in which our guests appreciate, remember and return for time and time again.

Your responsibilities will include supervising & delegating duties to the various team members on a daily basis:

- Program scheduled work on daily basis
- Allocate Job lists for all team members as per the Crystalbrook Collection Maintenance Standards
- Responsible to check that the job lists are being completed to the required standard and within the specified time frame
- Prioritise unscheduled tasks based on the needs of the guests and operational requirements
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and executing preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
- Inspect facilities regularly to identify maintenance needs and ensure high operational standards.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Respond promptly to emergency repair requests to minimise downtime.

**ABOUT YOU**:
Your talents will include
- Ability to lead and supervise a team of maintenance staff, providing direction and support
- Familiarity with tools and machinery used for repairs and upkeep
- Expertise in scheduling and conducting regular maintenance to prevent breakdowns
- You have experience working in maintenance and are a general handy person of all trades
- Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently in a variety of maintenance systems
