The **National Process & Operational Quality Manager** reports to our Regional Logistics & National Operations Manager and is responsible for the thought leadership and delivery of key initiatives regarding process documentation, KPI reporting, dashboard development, Logistics Operations project management and WMS systems process change for the operational warehouse locations in Australia.

The role will continuously work to develop and provide process and quality insights to support the customer experience, financial goals and operational delivery of the warehouses. All process changes and projects undertaken are support the direction of “operational excellence”, which in turn will be critical in supporting underlying sustainable profitable growth for the business.

A strong focus on process documentation, process improvement and collaboration with key internal stakeholders (especially all Supply Chain Departments, Merchandising, Sales and IT) and supporting existing and new business initiatives to underline and improve the ability of the Logistics Operations.

**In this role you will be responsible for**:

- Ensuring we have the right processes in place with supporting documentation to achieve our customer (DIFOT) and financial goals
- Have effective and trackable version control of all process documentation
- Ensure Logistics Operations develops a PMO (lite) process for managing all projects
- Ensure we are responsive to market changes and merchandising decisions - the DC operational teams have planned for and tested any new initiatives to support business growth and/or sales campaigns
- Ensure we have master data and systems to build and report on accurate KPI’s and site operational dashboards
- Benchmarking our operational capacity, capability and operational performance against best-in-class and competitors to identify initiatives to improve our customer offering or operational cost base
- Actively promote and champion the Zero Harm objective whilst engaging with Operations and office-based teams

***Skills & experience required**:

- Demonstrated management of process development and project management turnaround experience, with rapid results focus and a proven ability to own the problem and support / guide stakeholders to transform the business
- Demonstrated track record of driving KPI and process quality improvements in an operational environment
- Demonstrated management experience in a high volume, unit-level pick and parcel environment
- Strong commercial acumen in budget development and financial modelling
- Demonstrated thought leadership ability with critical analysis and decision-making skills
- Proven program delivery skills and the ability to manage key stakeholders
- Takes bold action and challenges the status quo
- Focuses on innovation and continuous improvement
- The ability to bring teams together to achieve business outcomes and recognises and rewards contribution
- Self-starter with an eye for detail and inquisitive nature that can look for patterns and problems
