**How will I help?**
As the Analytics Manager you will be a key part of the Group Finance Team where you will provide strategic guidance to Finance leadership in the areas of data strategy, reporting and analytics, simplification, and automation. You will understand the strategic plan for Finance and Data, investigate existing capabilities and translate data driven deliverables that align with the Westpac Group’s plans. You will also understand complex data management issues, provide design and technical leadership and adhere to best practice processes and policies and promote knowledge sharing and transfer across teams.

**What do I need?**
To be successful in this role you will need:

- 5 years’ experience in a data or analytics role, delivering solutions in a commercial environment using relational databases and analytical tools
- Experience with senior stakeholder management with demonstrable ability to simplify complex concepts for business audiences
- Have a strong ability to engage and influence a broad range of senior and operational stakeholders (Finance, IT, Business)
- Experience documenting and translating business requirements into technical specifications
- Have technical proficiency in SQL and/or Python
- Have technical proficiency in development and implementation of Business Intelligence Tools e.g. Power BI, Tableau
- Experience in the Financial Services industry, desired
