We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Registered or Enrolled Nurse to join our clinical team in the Acute Medical Unit at Calvary's hospital.
The Medical Unit is a 25-bed mixed specialty unit that provides quality care in the areas of Respiratory, General Medical, Endocrinology, Cardiology, and Infection Diseases.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with Calvary's policies and procedures, and relevant Government Health guidelines.
- Plan and implement nursing care in consultation with individuals, groups, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Contribute to patient and staff safety and well-being by identifying and reporting hazards, incidents, and near misses.
- Support and respect team members, communicating effectively and demonstrating a commitment to the team.
- AHPRA Registration
- Demonstrated experience in an acute care and/or hospital setting
- Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently, and in an organized manner during periods of high demand and activity
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills, and customer service skills
- A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organization
