**Theatre Support Role**

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to join our theatre team as a support worker. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our theatres, working closely with clinical staff to provide exceptional patient care.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting clinical staff with patient care and transportation between wards
  • Cleaning and waste removal within the theatre department
  • Ensuring theatres are set up for surgical procedures and equipment is available

To be successful in this role, you will require excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn and develop a working knowledge of hospital procedures. You will also need to be a motivated and positive individual, able to work effectively within a team environment and independently.

The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be able to prioritize tasks efficiently. They will also be able to work effectively across a 7-day rotating roster, including evenings and weekends.

Key requirements for this role include:

  • A National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • Vaccination against Covid-19 (or a vaccine approved by the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation)

We may also require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases, depending on the specific requirements of the role.
