About the Role

Ventia is seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Manager to join our Digital Services team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, effectiveness, and security of our data assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a data governance roadmap aligned with organizational goals.
  • Establish and maintain data governance policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with data-related regulations and standards.
  • Define roles and responsibilities related to data governance within the organization.
  • Oversee initiatives to improve data quality and establish key data definitions.
  • Collaborate with IT, legal, cyber, and business departments to implement governance strategies.
  • Develop and maintain a category of the organization's data assets, including sensitivity classifications.
  • Implement training programs for employees on data governance and compliance.
  • Conduct regular audits of data governance practices and prepare reports for senior management.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in data governance, data quality, and compliance. You should have experience in developing and implementing data governance roadmaps, establishing data governance policies, and ensuring compliance with data-related regulations.

You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Additionally, you should have a strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and database design.
