
Avionics Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as an Avionics Software Engineering Intern. This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on, real-world experience in designing, developing, and testing avionics hardware and software for various programs.
About the RoleAs an Avionics Software Intern, you will work directly with our engineering teams on projects that support our business units. You will have the chance to collaborate with experienced professionals, learn from them, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and test avionics hardware and software for various programs
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver high-quality projects
- Gain hands-on experience and receive mentorship and feedback from your mentors and managers
To be eligible for this internship, you must:
- Be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
- Currently be enrolled in an undergraduate program and have at least one semester or quarter of school remaining after the internship
- Completed at least one year of full-time coursework post high school graduation at the time of application (obtained sophomore standing)
- Available to work full time for a minimum of 12 weeks while not concurrently enrolled in coursework
- Have strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Have a strong interest in space exploration and innovation
We love to see hands-on experience and extracurricular engagement. Relevant internship/co-op and academic project experience that demonstrate development of both technical skills as well as leadership qualities are desired.
You should have experience with programming languages such as C, C++, and Python, and exposure to software verification, test planning/execution, or automated testing.
