Avionics Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

Job Description:

Aircraft maintenance engineers play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of aircraft. As an avionics aircraft maintenance engineer, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, conducting routine and non-routine maintenance, and performing repairs on various aircraft systems and components.

Key aspects of this role include inspecting aircraft systems to identify potential issues, diagnosing faults using specialized equipment and software, and implementing repairs or replacements as necessary.

You will work closely with other maintenance team members to ensure seamless execution of tasks and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current CASA licence
  • Strong understanding of Civil Aviation Safety Regulations
  • Demonstrated time management skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to work and contribute proactively within a small team environment
