We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our client, a leader in external drainage systems and modular polymer concrete channel drainage solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for control panel construction and maintenance, including PLC, as well as troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical and electrical system problems.

The ideal candidate will have an electrical trade qualification, PLC diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, and extensive maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Control panel construction and maintenance, including PLC
  • Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical and electrical system problems
  • Responsible for equipment installations, retrofits, and upgrades on electrical and mechanical systems

The successful candidate will require:

  • Electrical trade qualification with all current certificates
  • PLC diagnostic and troubleshooting essential
  • Extensive maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Computer literate
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrate a positive, proactive, and motivated attitude to work
  • Physically fit with the ability to work effectively in a multi-skilled environment
  • Experience conducting breakdown and preventative maintenance in a manufacturing environment

Working hours and rates:

Day shift: 6am-2.30pm or 7am-3.30pm

$55 to $60 per hour + super
