Job Summary:

Australia Wide Engineering Recruitment is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our client, a leading provider of external drainage systems and modular polymer concrete channel drainage solutions. With over 50 years of global experience, our client excels in engineering and innovation from their purpose-built facility.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Constructing and maintaining control panels, including PLC systems
  • Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical and electrical system problems, such as electrical circuits, controls, motor starters, and proximity switches
  • Installing, retrofitting, and upgrading electrical and mechanical systems

Requirements:

  • Electrical trade qualification with all current certifications
  • PLC diagnostic and troubleshooting expertise
  • Extensive maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Computer literacy
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrate a positive, proactive, and motivated attitude to work
  • Physical fitness with the ability to work effectively in a multi-skilled environment
  • Experience conducting breakdown and preventative maintenance in a manufacturing environment

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a focus on safety and quality. The role will involve working at heights, confined spaces, and in a variety of weather conditions.

What We Offer:

A competitive hourly rate of $55 to $60 per hour, plus superannuation. We also offer a stable and long-term opportunity with a reputable company.
