Senior Structural Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at New Venture Recruitment. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading structural engineering projects with a focus on steel and concrete, contributing to the development of iconic structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead structural engineering projects with a focus on steel and concrete, ensuring the highest standards of safety, functionality, and aesthetics.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, harnessing their potential and fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.
  • Play a pivotal role in the innovative design and structural analysis of multi-level buildings, ensuring the highest standards of safety, functionality, and aesthetics.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, specializing in structural engineering or a related field, from a recognized institution.
  • 12 years of proven experience in structural engineering.
  • Proven track record working with steel, reinforced concrete, and post-tensioned concrete in multi-level buildings, education, commercial, and healthcare projects.
  • Obtained or working towards CPEng status preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in structural analysis, showcasing the ability to solve complex engineering challenges with precision and creativity.
  • Advanced knowledge of relevant engineering software and tools such as ETABS, Space Gass, RAM Concept, RAPT, Strand 7, and Inducta software.
  • A track record of successfully mentoring and developing junior engineers.
  • Effective communication skills, empowering you to collaborate with cross-discipline teams, clients, and stakeholders effectively.
  • Australian citizenship.
