Digital Document Management Specialist

The Australian Government Attorney-General's Department is seeking a Lead Content Manager to oversee the implementation, administration and maintenance of multiple instances of the corporate electronic document and records management system.
Key responsibilities include supporting efficient access, movement and storage of organisational records with a focus on improving system integrity and accuracy of data in all CM datasets. This involves planning ahead strategically while maintaining a flexible approach to the workload, troubleshooting advanced CM incidents or service requests, providing CM End User training, investigating, promoting and managing enhancements to CM front end system support, and conducting record transfers.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with records teams and in EDMS, associations within the records field, and strong IT skills including database administration. Additionally, the successful candidate will assist the Department meet governance and compliance obligations through best practice.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the design and implementation of enterprise-wide solutions for managing electronic documents and records.
- Developing and maintaining policies and procedures for document management and retention.
- Providing training and guidance to staff on the use of the document and records management system.
- Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of data in all CM datasets.
- Investigating and resolving complex issues related to document and records management.
