About the Role
">This permanent part-time position offers an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Paediatrician. You will be responsible for educating paediatric trainees, working in a family-centred environment, contributing to patient safety, audit, research, and service planning activities.
">Key Responsibilities
">- ">
- Educate paediatric trainees rotating from Children's Hospital Queensland and medical staff comprising PHO/SHO/Intern/Allied Health, nursing staff, and medical students">
- Work in a family-centred environment with six other consultants championing excellence in interdisciplinary evidence-based care for children and adolescents">
- Contribute to patient safety, audit, research, and service planning activities">
- Develop and extend clinical services to local private facilities">
Essential Criteria
">Mandatory possession of a medicine degree from a registered tertiary institution and registration with the Medical Board of Australia with specialist registration in Paediatrics or appropriate registration with the Medical Board of Australia to practise in the specialist position
">Fellowship or eligibility for Fellowship via the substantial comparability pathway of the Royal Australian College of Physicians (RACP)
">Mandatory possession of a qualification from a registered tertiary institution and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency with a current annual practising certificate
