Job Overview

The role of Communications Manager plays a pivotal part in the development and execution of marketing and communication programs for both internal and external stakeholders. This permanent, full-time position will be responsible for crafting content for NGS' program of innovation projects as well as providing support for content development on NGS owned channels in line with our brand and tone of voice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, develop, and deliver communications plans and content supporting projects within the NGS innovation program. This includes change communications for internal and external stakeholders across NGS channels.
  • Liaise with stakeholders across NGS and provide communications advice and support which will include copywriting and review of communications to ensure compliance with the NGS brand, style guide and tone of voice.
  • Manage relationships with agencies and service providers engaged to support innovation and change projects on communications plans and deliverables.
  • Support the CEO and NGS Executive in the development and delivery of internal communications as required.
  • Maintain strong working relationships to support collaboration and the successful delivery of integrated communications programs.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 - 3 years of experience in a comparable role, preferably in a professional environment.
  • Proven ability to work with a range of stakeholders to develop and deliver communications plans and artefacts.
  • Strong written and oral communications skills, with a confident and professional manner.
  • Ability to coordinate projects with multiple deadlines showing excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience working with and managing external agencies and suppliers.
  • A high level of initiative.

Desirable:

  • Experience within the superannuation industry or financial services industry.
