About the RoleThe iCCnet delivers innovative healthcare solutions to improve cardiovascular health outcomes for patients in rural areas. As a Clinical Network Scientist, you will be responsible for providing remote health monitoring services, supporting patients with chronic conditions, and facilitating self-management through virtual home monitoring.
You will work closely with medical and scientific personnel to provide education, training, and technical support. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the quality and effectiveness of our services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide remote health monitoring services to patients with chronic conditions
- Support patients with early diagnosis and management of chronic conditions
- Facilitate self-management of chronic conditions through virtual home monitoring
- Provide education, training, and technical support to medical and scientific personnel
- Participate in the after-hours on-call technical support roster
- Contribute to the continuous quality improvement of services provided by the unit
To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Applied Science, or an equivalent qualification. You will also require broad experience in performing routine diagnostic tests and clinical knowledge in at least one of the following areas: Cardiology, Diabetes, Stroke, Renal, or Respiratory.
You will be proficient with computerized healthcare information systems and possess effective communication skills, including problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills. Self-motivation and empathy when interacting with patients are essential qualities for this role.
