Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Alice Springs region. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering person-centred Occupational Therapy services to NDIS participants.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the autonomy to manage your caseload and deliver timely therapeutic services. You will assess participants' developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological, and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments.

Using evidence-based therapeutic interventions, you will help participants enhance their quality of life and meet their goals. You will also maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage an allocated caseload and deliver timely therapeutic services
  • Assess participants' developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological, and physical function and capacity
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help participants enhance their quality of life and meet their goals
  • Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
  • Experience in delivering person-centred Occupational Therapy services
  • Demonstrated at least 2 years clinical OT experience within community, rehabilitation, and/or paediatrics
  • A genuine passion for working in the disability sector
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • A valid Driver's license and access to a reliable motor vehicle
