Key Responsibilities- Operational Oversight: Provide real-time direction and oversight of mining equipment performance, ensuring optimal productivity and efficiency.
- Shift Planning: Develop and implement shift plans that meet operational requirements, ensuring all tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
- Safety Management: Maintain a strong focus on safety protocols, ensuring all operations adhere to regulatory standards and company policies.
- Communication: Facilitate clear and effective communication between the control room and on-site personnel to ensure smooth operation and prompt issue resolution.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze data and operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance production efficiency.
- Equipment Management: Track and assess the health and performance of mining equipment to proactively address maintenance needs and prevent breakdowns.
- Experience: 2 years' experience as a Mine Controller or 3 years' relevant mining industry experience with mobile equipment.
- Skills: Excellent planning and organizational skills, excellent communication skills, ability to work effectively in a large and dynamic team environment, strong commitment to safety and the environment.
- Certifications: Current C class Driver's Licence.
