Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Mine Scheduling Engineer to fill this challenging and rewarding role.

  • Schedule, sequence, and execute daily and/or weekly plans effectively.
  • Identify risks and opportunities in daily and/or weekly planning.
  • Liaise with Production, Geology, Geotech, Maintenance departments to ensure the monthly plan is followed.
  • Analyze production data and statistics to amend schedules accordingly.
  • Deliver timely two-weekly plans and schedules.
  • Work on ramps and haul network designs.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders regarding sequencing, scheduling, and execution of the plan weekly and daily.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite and Power BI.
  • Competence in using mine planning and design software – such as Deswik, Fleet control.
  • Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or a related field.
  • Good communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Minimum 2 years' relevant experience in the mining industry.
  • Significant experience in all planning processes, from short to medium term.
  • A current C Class Western Australian Driver's Licence (Manual).
