About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Electrical Engineer to join our team as a Technical Lead for connection application studies, Generator Performance Standards (GPS) compliance assessments, model overlays, and model validation in PSSE and PSCAD. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in grid connections, GPS compliance assessments, and power system studies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of junior team members
  • Provide technical support and maintain relationships with existing clients
  • Act as the Technical Lead for connection application studies, GPS compliance assessments, model overlays, and model validation in PSSE and PSCAD
  • Project manage smaller projects
Requirements
  • 10+ years' experience in electrical engineering
  • Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering
  • Practical experience of 7+ years in grid connections, GPS compliance assessments, and power system studies
  • Experience with PSSE, PSCAD, Powerfactory, SINCAL, Python, and Matlab
  • CPEng, RPEQ, RPEV credentials
