About the Role

Our team is seeking a skilled Data Business Analyst to lead data and analytics initiatives. This role combines strong skills in data analysis and business intelligence with deep business analysis expertise, working across technical and business teams to define key performance indicators, business rules, and data solutions.

The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to unlock the full spectrum of customer data that supports data analytics and reporting needs. They will take ownership for leading the business analyst practice, working as part of an Agile business intelligence delivery team to facilitate the end-to-end capture and delivery of information solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Conduct and lead business requirement gathering sessions to collect in-depth first-hand business problems.">
  • Create scope for tasks or projects and necessary artefacts required.">
  • Set correct timelines and expectations after discussion within the team.">
  • Sound stakeholder management and business engagement skills.">
  • Develop proof of concept business intelligence models and prototypes to prove solution feasibility.">
  • Undertake detailed research and analysis and translate requirements into accurate epics and user stories with acceptance criteria.">
  • Establish the tools, templates, and procedures required to provide a high level of support to business intelligence analysts.">
  • Be the first point of user acceptance testing before handing it over to business.">

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • ">
  • Demonstrated experience working in Agile environments and leading cross-functional data delivery teams.">
  • Experience creating detailed business requirement documents, high-level design documents, and low-level design artefacts to support project execution.">
  • Understanding of data testing, reference data management, and data quality practices.">
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake.">
  • Familiarity with enterprise resource planning, enterprise performance management, and data build tools for transforming and modelling data.">
  • Experience using business intelligence tools for dashboard development and analytics delivery.">
  • A degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.">
